Questrade improved to 7th place in the Q3-2013 Online Discount Brokerage industry. Questrade has primarily been a good active trader firm that has a basic offering for the more traditional investor, whether passive, serious or active. Questrade's jump was mainly due to the fact that the multiple platforms are more integrated. Questrade has a variety of 'IQ' platforms. Questrade's ECN and exchange fees warrant a close look as its advertised $4.99 fee may not turn out to be so if one plans on 'removing liquidity' from the marketplace.
